YOUR TASKS

• Conduct research on machine learning in extreme cases where conventional methods fail
• Critically examine common underlying assumptions and develop alternative solution approaches
• Experimentally develop and evaluate novel training methods for neural networks
• Perform analytical work to prove stochastic properties
• Write scientific publications

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information and Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Software Engineering
• Excellent knowledge of machine learning and stochastics
• Creative mindset with the ability to pursue alternative solution approaches beyond established methodologies
• Experience in the experimental investigation of machine learning methods
• Good programming skills in Python or R
• Ability to write scientific texts
• Excellent English language skills (C-level proficiency)

We are required by law to specify the minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement, which is for the full-time position with some working experience a minimum of 3.267 EUR gross per month (14 times per year). Depending on qualifications and experience we are willing to pay a higher salary in line with the market.
