Stefanie Lindstaedt, Managing Director Know-Center GmbH, has been appointed as one of ten members of the High-Level Expert Group "European Open Science Cloud", which provides strategic advice on research data infrastructure.

The Commission High Level Expert Group “European Open Science Cloud” comprises 10 experts in the field of open science, research data sharing and scientific data infrastructures – among them is Stefanie Lindstaedt (Director of Knowledge Technologies Institute, TU GRAZ & Managing Director Know-Center GmbH).

This expert group has been established as a sustainable infrastructure for the management of research data. Its final aim is to accelerate discovery and innovation – science in Europe should be supported by infrastructure, while existing data infrastructures in different domains shall be made more interoperable.

The EU’s High Level Expert group will provide strategic advice to the European Commission on sharing research data, data stewardship and data reuse. This will happen in the context of the implementation of the ‘European Open Science Cloud’ and as part of the Commission Digital Single Market Strategy.
