Peter Kraker from Know-Center and this year’s panton fellow gave a talk about Open Research Data in the series of “Dialog an Deck” (Dialog on Deck) on the MS Wissenschaft in Vienna.
“MS Wissenschaft” is an exhibition ship that sails every year in the frame of the so-called science year with exhibits of different scientific institutions through Germany and Austria. In the science year 2014 the exibition was named “Digital unterwegs” (Digital on the move). Furthermore, a discussion of a panel of high-profile scientists, funding providers and policy representatives took place. The event was organized by Wikimedia and the Open Knowledge Foundation and sponsored by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
