Know-Center will participate with 3 papers and a workshop.
Dr. Stefanie Lindstaedt and Stefan Thalmann will lead the Workshop called „Lern- und Wissensmanagement im Zeitalter Industrie 4.0“ where the participants will discuss challenges arising from Industry 4.0 and new requirements for learning and knowledge management. Building upon this workshop, a position paper about the correlations between Industry 4.0 and learning and knowledge management will be published.
The paper „Adaptive and Reflective Training Support for Improving Search Behaviour in Industry 4.0“, authored by Angela Fessl, Stefan Thalmann and Viktoria Pammer-Schindler, presents a widget that trains search-skills of workers in order to increase their search efficiency and thus also their general productivity.
The second paper „Toward a Visual Analytics Framework for Learning Communities in Industry 4.0”, presented by Peter Hasitschka, Vedran Sabol and Stefan Thalmann, provides a visual framework for the analysis of communities that arise in a learning environment.
The international project MOVING (TraininG towards a society of data-saVy InforMation prOffesionals to enable open leadership INovation), is introduced in the paper „Moving the Industry 4.0“ by Franziska Günther, Matthias Heinz and Angela Fessl. In this project, a learning platform is being developed, which promotos the ability of users to use information more efficiently.
