Your friends are just more popular than you are. At least on social media. Network researcher Kristina Lerman spoke about this so-called Friendship Paradox in the third round of the CS Talks lecture series co-organized by the Know-Center.
Next date for CS-Talks: 17 June. Claudia Wagner, a well-known young researcher in Computational Social Sciences, will talk about the role of minorities in social networks and which factors can contribute to minorities being disadvantaged based on gender or ethnicity in social networks.
