A scientific paper with authors from the Social Computing team at Know-Center has been successfully presented in a workshop at RecSys 2017 conference in Como, Italy.

The ACM Recommender Systems Conference (RecSys) is the premier international forum for the presentation of new research results, systems and techniques in the broad field of recommender systems. This year, the conference was held in Como, Italy from 27th to 31st August 2017.

Know-Center´s accepted and presented paper is titled”Tailoring Recommendations for a Multi-Domain Environment” and authored by Emanuel Lacic, Dominik Kowald and Elisabeth Lex from Know-Center’s Social Computing area. At RecSys 2017, it was presented by Emanuel Lacic in the Workshop on Intelligent Recommender Systems by Knowledge Transfer & Learning.

At RecSys 2017, the eleventh conference in this series, more than 600 participants from academia and industry came together to present their latest results and identify new trends and challenges in providing recommendation components in a range of innovative application contexts. In addition to the main technical track, RecSys 2017 program featured keynotes and invited talks, tutorials covering state-of-the-art in this domain, a workshop program, an industrial track and a doctoral symposium.

Published papers went through a rigorous full peer review process, having an acceptance rate of 20.8% for long and 16.4% for short papers. The conference proceedings are available via the ACM Digital Library.
