The “International Science 2.0 Conference and EEXCESS Final Conference” took place in Cologne, Germany from the 3rd to 4th of May 2016. The Science 2.0 Conference provides a unique networking platform bringing together various stakeholder groups affected by the Digitization of Science. Know-Center and Joanneum Research had the opportunity to presents their work within the EEXCESS project. The presented solution to integrate new potential archives in the domain of cultural heritage was met with great interest within the stakeholders of the cultural domain.
Know-Center’s Knowledge Discovery Area, represented by Hermann Ziak presented the general system architecture and the so called PartnerWizard. The PartnerWizard is a tool developed by Joanneum Research and the Know-Center that allows an easy and automated integration of new data providers into the EEXCESS ecosystem. This enables domain experts without deeper technical knowledge to make their content available through the platform.
