In the event “First knowledge exchange in the plastics sector” of ITG Salzburg (innovation service Salzburg) in cooperation with the plastics cluster Upper Austria, Hermann Stern (Know-Center) presented “SME specific best practices for knowledge management and knowledge transfer” on September 5, 2014.
Especially in small and medium-sized companies the technical improvement of knowledge transfer and securing knowledge is thematized. Many R&D projects produce results that could also be of high value for further projects. However, they are often archived in the respective project and thereby they are lost for the re-use in other topics.
Hermann Stern presented an expert’s point of view of in this area and showed which technical support can be used for knowledge transfer and management.
