Barcamp Graz is famous since 2010 for sharing knowledge and ideas from the web scene in a so-called unconventional open conference in one weekend. The program is created spontaneously and everybody can participate with his/her ideas – without the rigid structure of a previously defined agenda.
From 27 projects in total in the official nomination phase (April until June 2014) the Elevate team only chose five Styrian projects that correspond to the criteria innovation, sustainability, regionality, authenticity, promotion of justice, non-discriminatory.
As the barcamp’s co-organiser, Know-Center is happy that the project is nominated for the Elevate Award Styria. Vote until October 15 for the initiative that should win the Elevate Award.
