On 14th September, the official foundation stone for two innovative buildings was laid during a press conference on the TU Graz campus: in the Summer of 2022, Know Center will move into a new ‘Data House’ together with ISDS ‘Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science’ – making it the new hot spot for future innovations in the field of digitalization.
Stefanie Lindstaedt, CEO of Know Center GmbH and Director of the ISDS speaks about her views on the new location at the Inffeldgasse Campus: “I am very pleased that after 20 years, finally all employees of the ISDS institute and Know Center will work together under one roof of the ‘Data House’. With more than 250 researchers, we provide bundled know-how in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence & Interactive Systems. With this and our special training program for data scientists, we are strengthening the competitiveness of Styria as a business location in the long term. Together with the Science Park Graz and other companies from various industries, we will create a closely networked research infrastructure in the long-term, which will produce innovations at the highest level.
