Ein Beitrag des Wissenschaftsmagazins „Newton“ des ORF, das am Samstag 21. März 2009 ausgestrahlt wird, behandelt das Thema Kreativität. Darin wird auch die Meta-Suchmaschine „Inspiration Machine“ vorgestellt, die in Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Partnerunternehmen ISN und dem Know-Center realisiert worden ist.A television broadcast of Austrian national television’s science magazine Newton aired on Saturday, 21 March 2009, covers the research area creativity. The meta search engine ‚Inspiration Machine‘ is also presented during this broadcasting. The Inspiration Machine has been developed in the course of a close cooperation of our partner company ISN and the Know-Center.
National Austrian television’s science magazine ‘Newton’ will present on Saturday 21st of March 2009 newest results from research on supporting human creativity. Among others the magazine will also cover the meta search engine ‘Inspiration Machine’, which has been developed in a close cooperation between Know-Center’s partner company ISN and the Know-Center. The Inspiration Machine utilizes programming interfaces of web-based services such as flickr, Youtube, eBay and so forth and visually arranges the respective search results in a way, which is considered to enhance the viewer’s creativity. The Inspiration Machine runs in the user’s browser and makes use of so-called Rich Internet technologies.
Das Wissenschaftsmagazin „Newton“ des österreichischen Rundfunks (ORF), das in ORF 1 samstags um 18:35 ausgestrahlt wird, präsentiert am 21. März 2009 in einem Beitrag neueste Ergebnisse von Grazer Forschern zum Thema Kreativitäts-Unterstützung. In dem Beitrag wird auch die Meta-Suchmaschine „Inspiration Machine“ präsentiert, die unter Mitwirkung von Entwicklern des Know-Center und ISN in kürzester Zeit entwickelt und Online gestellt werden konnte. Die Inspiration Machine nutzt Programmierschnittstellen von Web-Angeboten wir Flickr, YouTube, eBay und anderen und arrangiert deren Suchergebnisse kreativitätsfördernd im Browser der Benutzer unter Verwendung von Rich Internet Technologien.
